The banquet will be held at the banquet room of
Hotel Nikko Kanazawa, the same venue as the Reception.
The banquet is open to all ICLP 2006 attendees and
registered guests. Traditional Japanese and Continental
style food will be served. |

PAPERS |

Papers will be presented and discussed either
orally or in poster sessions. Oral sessions will
be held in conference rooms of the Hotel Nikko Kanazawa.
All oral papers are expected to be presented by
using MS Power Point, For different software, please
contact the organizer well in advance. A PC will
be available in each conference room. Please note
that, there is no overhead projector facility in
the conference rooms.
Poster boards will be available with identifying
labels at the Exhibition Hall (1F of the Ishikawa
Ongaku-do). Usable space on each poster board will
be approximately 900mm wide and 1,800mm high. Pushpins
will be available.

amusement area), Buke-Yashiki Dori (Histrical samurai
house district), Myoryuji Temple (Known as Ninjya
Temple, non stop) etc.

(2) Kaga-Yuzen Traditional
Industry Museum |

In the mid-Edo period (1603-1863), a famous silk-dyer
from Kyoto named Miyazaki Yuzen brought the Yuzen
technique to Kanazawa and combined it with local
style to produce Kaga - Yuzen technique. Here you
can experience everything related to Kaga-Yuzen:
view exhibits, shop, watch hand-painting demonstrations,
try your hand at stencil dying JPY1,050pp. (09:00-17:00;

Market and Myoryu-ji Temple (Ninja-dera) |

A central place for food shopping among Kanazawa
residents (Kanazawa Kitchen), this market consists
of about 170 shops selling fresh fish, crabs, vegetables
etc. There are also sushi bars and restaurants for
lunch and dinner. Nicknamed Ninjya Temple, Myoru-ji
temple is full of tricks, hidden stairs and floor
traps to defend against attacking enemies.

hundred and fifty years ago. Sometimes Daijo-ji
